The IoG's faculty roster includes methodologists, whose work deals with the information content of new kinds of data collected by other scientists and the rules of scientific inference suited to those new kinds of data.

Dr. Galecki is interested in applications of modern statistical methods for analysis of data from a wide range of gerontological and geriatric studies, including clinical trials, epidemiological studies and populations surveys. His specialties are longitudinal data analysis, categorical data analysis, generalized linear models, survey methodology and population pharmacokinetics.
